Jeholornis prima's Last Meal...

Fossil of a Jeholornis prima, a turkey-sized bird that lived more than 100 million years ago, shows that it's last meal in the Mesozoic era was:

Seeds.


Scientist at the Chinese Academy of Sciences are still studying the seeds to figure out from what type of plant they came from. The fossil is unusual since it was thought that most birds from that time period ate either fish, or insects.
