If you are a prisoner on death row in China, you are given this typical last meal.
One large mantou (steamed bread) and five(hard-boiled) eggs
or
A large bowl of meat dumplings
Prisoners are then taken to a spot way from the civilian population. Reason being so the prisoners can’t yell out anti-government slogans or speech. The prisoners are trussed up with their arms behind their back and put in a kneeling position. A solider will come around behind each prisoner and put a bullet into the prisoner’s head. It’s obviously a fatal shot. From there the body is rushed to the hospital so the prisoner’s organs are harvested for organ transplant. Usually the harvesting is down against the prisoner’s wishes or family’s wishes. The prisoner’s family is then presented a bill for the bullet used to kill their loved one (usually 6 cents) and the cost of the cremation of the body. If the family refuses to pay, then they don’t get the ashes. Usually the ashes are used as fertilizer for farming.
Oh, yum!
